Pure Joy Agility LLC is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  At Pure Joy Agility, our goal is to provide positive, premier agility training by creating a strong relationship between you and your dog.  Whether you simply want to try agility or be the best of the best, we will help you get there.  Your dream is our goal!

Heather Mahieu Cline, founder, owner and trainer of Pure Joy Agility, LLC, is an avid agility competitor, NADAC Judge, TDAA Judge and Certified NADAC Trainer.  As a dedicated trainer, Heather finds joy in seeing dogs learn and connect with their handlers and in handlers gaining the necessary skills and insight to participate in agility at a competitive level.

Heather recognizes that each dog is a unique, individual creature, with his/her own unique personality, genetics, and preferences.  Each dog is trained based on his/her specific needs.  Great emphasis is placed on bonding between the handler and dog and building a positive, solid foundation.  Positive training techniques are always used and taught at Pure Joy Agility.  Heather incorporates games and drills into her training to reinforce agility skills and team work, as well as teaching relaxing techniques to help alleviate stress in working dogs and dogs that struggle with the environment.

All levels of classes, including competition and private lessons, are taught indoors at Full Circle Obedience located at 2915 W. Britton Road, Oklahoma City.

Pure Joy Agility LLC offers premier training for canine athletes.  Our foundation classes include FUNdamentals, FUNdamentals 2, Contacts, and Weaves and Jumps.  FUNdamentals and FUNdamentals 2 are ground work classes  (no jumping or high impact) and are appropriate for dogs 12 weeks and older.  Each team receives one-on-one time in each class as well group instruction.

“Pure Joy Agility has opened up so many fun adventures for me and an entire community I never even knew existed. My dog and I came to Pure Joy with zero experience, not knowing anyone in dog sports, let alone agility. The Pure Joy family immediately embraced us and has become the absolute best group of friends, from all ages, backgrounds, and ability levels. We work hard, laugh hard, and have so much fun training, competing, and supporting each other and our dogs.”  Kelly F., Team Major

“Being a member of Pure Joy Agility for the past few years has truly been a joyous and rewarding experience. The people and the dogs at the club are simply amazing, creating a warm and supportive community that feels like a family. As a first-time dog owner I have learned so much from the knowledgeable, trainers and fellow members, and the bond I have formed with my fur baby through our agility journey has been incredibly special. The guidance encouragement, and camaraderie within Pure Joy Agility have not only helped us excel in agility training, but have also enriched our lives beyond measure. I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a positive and engaging group at fosters growth, friendships, and most importantly, the pure joy of spending time with our beloved four legged companions.” Emily B., Team Ellie May

“I am so happy we found Pure Joy Agility and joined the group! Not only have Finley and I improved IMMENSELY as a team since we joined but we found a wonderful group of people who are supportive and kind and so fun to be around. Heather is a wonderful trainer who focuses on the dog and handler as a team. She helps every team to reach their full potential while still being encouraging and giving praise for all accomplishments along the way. We love Pure Joy Agility!” Lisa F., Team Finley

“Our 4-year-old rescue Gus has been attending Pure Joy Agility (PJA) classes with Heather since he was a year old and his obedience trainer recommended a dog sport to work on his confidence. He can be a hard dog to train — flighty, nervous, hypervigilant — but it was obvious from the first class that he LOVED agility. Heather has been incredible with him. She is patient, kind, and always comes up with creative ways to train him when one way isn’t working, and Gus adores her. Being in the PJA club, even though we’ve never trialed, is so rewarding — we have made so many friends and everyone is so supportive and invested in our growth as a team. Joining PJA is one of the best things I’ve done, both for my dog and my relationship with my dog.” Gabbi A., Team Gus
