CLASSES
The Golden Hour
Starts Monday, August 4, 2025 at 7 pm
Meets August 4, 11, 18, 25
$150 (4-1 hour classes)
This 4-week class is specifically for senior dogs, 7 years and up. Each week, we will focus on an age-appropriate Fitness Exercise, Scent Work Game, Agility Skill and a Trick. This will be a fun time to get our seasoned companions out, active and socialized in a safe and fun environment. Limit: 8 dogs
Agility FUNdamentals
Starts Monday, October 6, 2025 at 6 pm
Meets October 6, 13, 20, November 3, 10, 17
$225 (6-1 hour classes)
This 6-week class will work toward building a solid agility foundation for both you and your dog. Emphasis will be on team work, dog motivation, handler and dog foot work, as well as an introduction to skills needed to perform basic agility equipment, such as tunnels, hoops and barrels. You will learn a variety of fun, interactive games that will help strengthen the handler/dog relationship. Dogs 12 weeks and older can participate as there are no high-impact skills taught during this class. Limit: 8 dogs.

Sequencing
Starts Monday, October 6, 2025 at 7:15 pm
Meets October 6, 13, 20, November 3, 10, 17
$225 (6-1 hour classes)
Full Circle Obedience
This 6-week class will focus on dog and handler paths, sequencing, handling, directional cues and handler crosses. You and your dogs will learn how to work through a series of obstacles from all directions and sides. Agility FUNdamentals or similar training with instructor permission is a prerequisite for this class. Dogs 12 weeks and older can participate as there are no high-impact skills taught during this class. Limit: 8 dogs

COMPS
COMPS 1 – Beginner Competition Practice (Without Weaves or Contacts)

COMPS 3 – Advanced Competition Practice

COMPS practices are specifically designed for Pure Joy Agility competitors. Sessions cover trial strategies, including start line techniques, sequences you will likely see during trials, and drills to reinforce trial skills. Pure Joy Agility Club Members who have completed FUNdamentals and Sequencing, or the equivalent, are eligible to participate in COMPS upon joining Pure Joy Agility Club. If you are interested in participating, please email Heather@PureJoyAgility.com.
Note: As a competing instructor and agility judge, there will be times that we will not have class or practice, depending on my trial and travel schedule. Any changes will be announced via Pure Joy Agility private Facebook group.
Private Lessons
Private Lessons are always an option. You pick the skills that you would like to work on and I’ll pick the drills. 🙂 Private Lessons
